Your gift can make a difference to
The King Edward VI Foundation has been set up with the sole aim of ensuring that talented children, from less affluent backgrounds, have the chance to change their lives through education.
With the help of a gift from you, we will be able to offer the chance of a King Edward’s education to children whose families would otherwise be unable to afford fees. The provision of financial support for these pupils through bursaries and scholarships is vital. Please help us to safeguard their education.
“I feel very privileged to have been educated at King Edward’s and very lucky to have received financial support from the School for my place. For this I will always be grateful – I very much believe that my KES experience has been a key factor in the successes of my life.”
Joe Parker (bursary holder 1993-2000) went to Imperial College, London to study Biology and then to Linacre College, Oxford to research his DPhil in Viral Evolution.
How you can help.
You can help in one of several ways, either by leaving a legacy in your Will or by making a one off or regular donation. Both are vitally important as whilst legacy giving allows us to make future plans, regular or one-off gifts means that we can help children who need bursarial or fee support now.
Every gift made to the Foundation, regardless of size, is important. Substantial bequests are just as important as small monthly payments. Please help us to offer the chance of a KES education to every worthy applicant regardless of family circumstances.

“I feel very fortunate that I have had the opportunity to study at KES with the support of the bursary scheme. I owe a huge debt to my teachers, whose dedicated support and encouragement meant so much and led to me successfully applying to Oxford.”
Ragulan Vigneswaran (bursary holder 2004-2011) went to Balliol College, Oxford to study Economics and Management.

The gift of education is priceless.
